ChartaRè is the B2B e-commerce platform of Rossi Carta S.r.l., specialising in packaging, wrapping and professional solutions for shops and businesses.
In particular, it offers:
- shopping bags and carrier bags;
- boxes and packaging;
- gift wrap and tissue paper;
- ribbons, bows and packaging accessories;
- food packaging;
- packing and shipping materials;
- wedding favours and customised packaging;
- products customisable with printing.
Its purpose is to help shops, professionals, craftspeople, HoReCa businesses and e-commerce operators select coordinated products, purchase them professionally and reorder them whenever necessary.

Article 2 — Scope of Application
2.1. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”, govern all purchases made through the Website by consumers, meaning natural persons acting for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, craft or professional activity they may carry out, hereinafter referred to as “Consumers”, and by business customers, meaning natural or legal persons acting in the course of their business, commercial, craft or professional activity, hereinafter referred to as “Business Customers”.
Consumers and Business Customers are collectively referred to as the “Customers”.
2.2. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian Legislative Decree No. 70/2003 on electronic commerce, Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the Italian Consumer Code, as subsequently amended, including Italian Legislative Decree No. 26/2023 implementing the Omnibus Directive, as well as by the provisions of the Italian Civil Code where applicable.
2.3. For Consumers, these Terms and Conditions apply together with and in compliance with the mandatory provisions of the Italian Consumer Code. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and statutory consumer protection provisions, the latter shall prevail.
2.4. For Business Customers, contractual relations are governed by these Terms and Conditions and, for any matters not expressly covered herein, by the Italian Civil Code.
The provisions of the Italian Consumer Code, including the right of withdrawal referred to in Articles 52–59, do not apply to Business Customers.
2.5. The Customer must carefully read these Terms and Conditions before placing an order. Submission of an order implies that the Customer is aware of and fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2.6. The reviews displayed on the Website come from Google and have not been verified by us.
Article 3 — Products and Prices
3.1. The products offered for sale on the Website are described on the relevant product pages.
Images are provided for illustrative purposes and may not perfectly represent the characteristics of the products. In the event of any discrepancy between an image and the written product description, the written description shall prevail.
3.2. All prices are expressed in euros.
For Consumers, the main price displayed on the Website includes VAT.
To assist Business Customers, the corresponding price excluding VAT may also be displayed as secondary information.
The price including VAT displayed on the product page is also shown in the shopping cart and during checkout, together with any shipping costs and other applicable charges, before the order is submitted.
3.3. Prices include the CONAI environmental contribution where applicable.
3.4. Prices may be changed at any time. Any changes shall not apply to orders already submitted by the Customer.
The applicable price is the price including VAT displayed on the product page and summarised in the shopping cart and at checkout when the order is submitted.
3.5. In the event of an obvious error in a published price, meaning a price that is clearly disproportionately low compared with the value of the product, Rossi Carta S.r.l. reserves the right not to confirm the order and shall promptly inform the Customer.
3.6. Where price reduction announcements are addressed to Consumers, the previous price shall be indicated in accordance with Article 17-bis of the Italian Consumer Code, where applicable.
Article 4 — Ordering Procedure and Conclusion of the Contract
4.1. An order submitted by the Customer through the Website constitutes a contractual offer to purchase addressed to Rossi Carta S.r.l.
4.2. The Customer will receive an automatic order receipt email containing a summary of the products ordered, prices, shipping costs and the Customer’s details.
This email only confirms receipt of the order and does not constitute acceptance of the Customer’s offer.
4.3. The sales contract is concluded when Rossi Carta S.r.l. sends the Customer an email confirming shipment of the order.
4.4. Rossi Carta S.r.l. reserves the right not to accept an order, either in whole or in part, in the event of:
- product unavailability;
- a pricing error;
- incomplete information provided by the Customer;
- previous outstanding payments.
In such cases, the Customer shall be promptly informed and any amounts already charged shall be refunded in full.
4.5. The concluded contract shall be stored in the information systems of Rossi Carta S.r.l. for the period required under applicable legislation.
The Customer may access their orders through the reserved area of the Website or request a copy by emailing shop@chartare.com.
4.6. The contract may be concluded in Italian.
Article 5 — Product Availability
5.1. Product availability is indicated on the relevant product page and is updated in real time.
However, as the Website may be accessed by several users simultaneously, a product may become unavailable after an order has been submitted.
5.2. In the event that the ordered products are wholly or partially unavailable, Rossi Carta S.r.l. shall promptly inform the Customer and offer the following alternatives:
a. wait for the product to be restocked;
b. replace the product with an equivalent product;
c. cancel the order and receive a full refund of any amounts already paid.
Article 6 — Payment Methods
6.1. The Customer may choose from the following payment methods:
- Credit or debit card: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express, through a secure payment system using SSL encryption and the 3D Secure 2.0 protocol. The amount is charged when the order is shipped.
- PayPal: payment is made through the Customer’s PayPal account. The amount is charged when the order is submitted.

Advance bank transfer: payment must be made within five working days of submitting the order. The order will be shipped once the payment has been credited.

- Cash on delivery: available exclusively in Italy for orders of up to €350.00 including VAT.
No surcharge is applied for the use of any payment method, pursuant to Article 62 of the Italian Consumer Code and Directive (EU) 2015/2366, known as PSD2.
6.2. All transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption.
Credit card details are never stored on the servers of Rossi Carta S.r.l.
Article 7 — Shipping and Delivery
7.1. The available delivery destinations, shipping methods, applicable costs, estimated delivery times, tracking procedures and instructions to follow in the event of damaged parcels are governed by the “Shipping and Delivery” page available on the Website.
The Shipping and Delivery page forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
7.2. Before confirming the order, the Customer is shown any applicable delivery restrictions, shipping costs and the total purchase amount.
7.3. The financial conditions and delivery methods displayed in the order summary and accepted by the Customer at the time of purchase shall apply to the specific contract concluded, without prejudice to any mandatory rights provided under applicable legislation.
7.4. By submitting an order, the Customer confirms that they have read the “Shipping and Delivery” page.
Article 8 — Consumer Right of Withdrawal
8.1. Pursuant to Articles 52–59 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the Italian Consumer Code, Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within fourteen days from the date on which the Consumer acquires physical possession of the goods.
8.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must inform Rossi Carta S.r.l. of their decision through an explicit declaration sent:

8.3. Effects of withdrawal:
The Consumer must return the goods within fourteen days of communicating their decision to withdraw.
The goods must be intact and returned in their original packaging.
The direct costs of returning the goods shall be borne by the Consumer.
Rossi Carta S.r.l. shall refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within fourteen days, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Rossi Carta S.r.l. may withhold the refund until it has received the returned goods or until the Consumer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first, pursuant to Article 56, paragraph 3, of the Italian Consumer Code.

8.5. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal pursuant to Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code include:
- goods made to the Consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, including shopping bags, boxes and ribbons with customised printing;
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- sealed goods that have been opened after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Any applicable exclusion shall be indicated on the product page before the order is placed.
Article 9 — Returns for Business Customers
9.1. For Business Customers, meaning customers holding a VAT number who purchase products in the course of their business activity, the right of withdrawal provided under the Italian Consumer Code does not apply.
Article 10 — Legal Guarantee of Conformity
10.1. Consumers
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for under Articles 128–135-septies of the Italian Consumer Code.
The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery.
Any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.
10.2. In the event of a lack of conformity, the Consumer is entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.
Where repair or replacement is not possible, the Consumer is entitled to an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract.

10.3. Business Customers
For Business Customers, the warranty against defects under Article 1490 and following articles of the Italian Civil Code applies.
Defects must be reported within eight days of their discovery. The relevant rights expire one year after delivery.
Article 11 — Liability
11.1. Rossi Carta S.r.l. shall not be liable for delays or failures to perform resulting from events of force majeure.
Article 12 — Personal Data Protection
12.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation, and Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003.

Article 13 — Alternative Dispute Resolution
13.1. Consumers may use alternative dispute resolution procedures, known as ADR procedures, pursuant to Directive 2013/11/EU, implemented in Italy through Italian Legislative Decree No. 130/2015.

Article 14 — Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
14.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
14.2. Consumers
For Consumers, the competent court shall be the court of the Consumer’s place of residence or domicile, pursuant to Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code.
14.3. Business Customers
For Business Customers, the Court of Forlì shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
