Decorating the house without a Christmas tree

Decorating your home for Christmas without using the classic tree solution can be complicated, because it is the first thing we think of when we start to feel the Christmas atmosphere, yet there are many other solutions we can adopt to give our home a Christmas atmosphere, despite the lack of the king of decorations, the tree.

The first thing we can do is replace the tree (which usually takes up too much space) with a small, tabletop one, so as not to give up this tradition, but if we don't like the idea of having to decorate it or we don't like the tree itself, we can think of other, completely different solutions.

You can replace the classic pine with polished branches, to be planted in a pot or hung from the ceiling, and then decorate them by hanging many colored balls with a transparent nylon thread, so as to give a very modern style to the house.

Another idea is to do without the tree, but hang the balls from the ceiling anyway with transparent thread, for a minimal decoration.

If you are a lover of reading, on the other hand, you can build a tree made up of books, to be decorated with lights, small festoons and balls.

If you have a small child at home and you are afraid that he may get hurt with the tree, perhaps by accidentally bumping into it, playing with it or hanging from it, perhaps the best solution could be a felt tree to hang on a wall with balls (which can always be felt) to attach and detach so that your child can play with the decorations safely; otherwise, if you are not afraid of Christmas accidents, you can give vent to your creativity by creating a tree using your favorite CDs by trying to hang them on an empty wall and then decorate everything with ribbon bows, pine cones and lights.

If, on the other hand, you don't really like the idea of the Christmas tree (neither the traditional one nor the more particular ones), a solution is to dedicate yourself to the nativity scene, to be created using many figures and recreating a realistic setting, but above all lighting it with many nativity scene lights to give more atmosphere.

However, it may happen that you do not have enough space for the nativity scene, in this case then our advice is to decorate the house with many lights that you can put at the entrance, perhaps twisted on the coat rack or on the edge of the sofa, next to the television or hanging from the ceiling, or even on the fireplace (if you have it) or on the door of the house.

Had no idea how to decorate your home without a tree?
Well, we hope we have given you a hand in collecting ideas.
